In this fully online role, you will support veterinarians and pet owners by providing administrative, clinical, and customer service assistance. Key Responsibilities



  • Assist veterinarians in coordinating online consultations and virtual appointments.

  • Maintain accurate medical records and update pet profiles in our system.

  • Communicate effectively with pet owners via email, chat, and phone to provide guidance and answer questions.

  • Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and manage online calendars.

  • Process online orders for medications, pet supplies, and lab services.

  • Provide basic guidance on pet care, nutrition, and preventive health measures under veterinary supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with veterinary protocols and maintain confidentiality of pet and client information.

  • Support veterinary staff with documentation, research, and reporting as needed.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in veterinary assisting, animal care, or related fields preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, email, video conferencing tools, and online management systems.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for animals.




Experience



  • Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, or in a customer service role in the pet care industry is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Familiarity with online veterinary platforms or telehealth services is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Flexible remote work schedule.

  • Must be available to work during scheduled shifts, including some evenings and weekends as required.
