Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients requiring assistance with healthcare services, prescription programs, and insurance benefits.
  • Guide patients through enrollment in various assistance programs to ensure access to necessary medications and treatments.
  • Liaise with healthcare providers, pharmacies, and internal departments to streamline patient care and resolve issues.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients on insurance eligibility, copayment options, and program requirements.
  • Follow up on patient cases to ensure timely resolution and service satisfaction.
  • Handle sensitive patient information confidentially, adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or healthcare management software.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare terminology and insurance concepts.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of customer service or patient support experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Prior experience working in a remote or call center environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Standard business hours (Monday to Friday).
