Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns and resolving workplace conflicts effectively.
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and policy violations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and coaching to managers on handling employee relations issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations cases and investigations.
Collaborate with legal, HR, and leadership teams to mitigate risk and ensure fair treatment of employees.
Support employees in understanding their rights, company policies, and available resources.
Monitor workplace trends and provide recommendations for improving employee engagement and retention.
Assist in the design and delivery of training programs related to employee relations, diversity, and workplace ethics.
Strong knowledge of employee relations principles, employment law, and HR best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and discretion when handling sensitive issues.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining collaboration with HR and leadership teams.
Proficiency in HR software, case management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
3+ years of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a similar HR function.
Previous experience in the airline, travel, or customer service industry is a plus.
Experience working in a remote or virtual HR environment is highly desirable.
Full-time remote position with standard business hours.
Occasional flexibility may be required to accommodate different time zones.
Deep understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
