Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a passionate and driven Deep Learning Intern for a remote internship opportunity. As a Deep Learning Intern, you will work closely with our team of data scientists and AI specialists to design, develop, and optimize deep learning models for real-world business applications. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building, training, and validating deep learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Collaborate with the AI and Data Science teams to implement AI solutions across various projects.
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art deep learning techniques and propose innovative ideas to improve model performance.
• Preprocess large datasets to prepare them for training and evaluation purposes.
• Participate in regular team meetings, project reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
• Document findings, project progress, and technical solutions in clear and organized reports.
• Support deployment and testing of AI models in production-like environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of deep learning principles and neural network architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Experience

• Prior academic or personal projects related to machine learning, deep learning, or AI development.
• Familiarity with research papers and open-source contributions is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Previous internship or professional experience in a data-driven role will be considered an asset.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.
• Fully remote and asynchronous work environment with occasional scheduled team meetings.
