Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airline Travel Consultant to join our virtual support team. This role involves assisting customers with their travel needs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the airline or travel industry and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with flight bookings, itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel inquiries.

• Provide expert advice on airline policies, visa requirements, baggage allowances, and fare rules.

• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Work with airline reservation systems and global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

• Process refunds, travel credits, and rebookings efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with airline and travel regulations.

• Collaborate with other travel consultants and supervisors to enhance service quality.

• Stay updated on travel trends, airline promotions, and new regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of airline reservations, ticketing, and travel regulations.

• Proficiency in GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to service delivery.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the airline, travel agency, or tourism industry.

• Prior experience in a virtual or remote customer service role is an advantage.

Working Hours
