We are hiring a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) for Critical Care in a leading hospital. This role is ideal for MBBS doctors who want to gain hands-on experience in ICU, emergency response, and critical patient management. As an RMO in Critical Care, you will work closely with intensivists and hospital teams to ensure timely and effective treatment for critically ill patients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide round-the-clock medical support in the ICU & Critical Care Unit.
  • Monitor ventilated patients, life-support systems, and emergency care protocols.
  • Assist in intubation, resuscitation, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
  • Conduct clinical assessments, prescribe medications, and initiate treatment plans.
  • Work closely with consultants, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient history, progress, and treatment.
  • Communicate with patients families regarding treatment plans and medical updates.
  • Maintain strict adherence to hospital safety, infection control, and ICU protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
  • Valid medical registration/license (DHA/MOH/HAAD for UAE, MCI for India, GMC for UK, etc.).
  • 1-3 years of hospital experience (ICU, CCU, or Emergency experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of critical care procedures, ventilator management, and emergency medicine.
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure ICU environments.
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night duty, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, or Anesthesiology.
  • Certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Knowledge of ABG analysis, central line insertion, dialysis support, and ICU monitoring systems.

Work Environment

  • On-site role in a hospital Critical Care Unit (CCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Shift-based work schedules (day/night rotations).
  • Fast-paced, high-acuity medical setting.
