Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and construction best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion.
• Develop project budgets, schedules, and work plans, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions.
• Lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Manage contracts, negotiations, and procurement of construction materials.
• Ensure quality control and conduct regular site inspections.
• Address any delays, emergencies, or other issues that arise during construction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Experience in commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Previous experience working with contractors, vendors, and government agencies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time role with standard 40+ hours per week.
• May require weekend or evening work depending on project deadlines and site requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
