Job Summary

Scalesforth is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Credit Analyst to join our growing team in India. In this role, you will evaluate financial data to assess the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses. You will play a crucial part in supporting Scalesforths financial operations and decision-making processes by delivering accurate credit analyses, insights, and recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and economic data to assess credit risk.
• Conduct thorough credit investigations and prepare detailed reports for decision-makers.
• Assist in establishing credit limits and terms based on financial analysis.
• Monitor existing accounts for compliance with terms and any signs of credit issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and underwriting, to ensure smooth workflows.
• Identify potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate them.
• Maintain and update credit files and records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and market conditions affecting credit risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with credit rating systems and risk assessment methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum Experience: 2�4 years in credit analysis or a related financial role.
• Knowledge of the Indian financial market and regulations is preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours with a requirement to attend occasional virtual team meetings.
• 40 hours per week, with some flexibility for work-life balance.
