Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Fundraising Event Organizer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing virtual and in-person fundraising events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and execute virtual and in-person fundraising events for clients, ensuring all activities align with their goals and objectives.

  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection (for in-person events), speaker arrangements, attendee registration, and vendor management.
  • Develop and manage event budgets to ensure costs are controlled while maximizing fundraising potential.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure successful event participation and engagement.
  • Monitor event progress, track donations, and provide updates to clients on event performance.
  • Handle post-event activities, including thank-you communications, reports, and donor acknowledgment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and generate awareness.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising and event planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning and management, particularly within the fundraising sector.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in event management software and fundraising platforms.

Experience:

  • Experience with digital fundraising platforms (e.g., GoFundMe, JustGiving, etc.) and tools like Zoom, Eventbrite, or similar is a plus.

Working Hours:
