Job Summary:
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Corporate Event Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of corporate events, ranging from small internal meetings to large-scale conferences and seminars, ensuring seamless execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. As this is a remote position, applicants must be self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled in virtual event tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the logistics of corporate events, including conferences, seminars, team-building activities, and product launches.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
- Source and manage vendors for various event services such as catering, entertainment, speakers, and technology.
- Handle event timelines, ensure all deadlines are met, and track event budgets.
- Manage virtual and hybrid events using platforms like Zoom, MS Teams, and WebEx.
- Develop and distribute pre-event, during-event, and post-event communication with all stakeholders.
- Coordinate event marketing efforts, including invitations, social media promotion, and internal communications.
- Ensure all event logistics, from technology setup to attendee registration, are smoothly executed.
- Provide on-site support during events, including coordination of staff and vendors, managing event flow, and troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement based on feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in corporate event planning and coordination.
- Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event tools (Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, etc.).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate event coordination or related field.
- Experience planning virtual, hybrid, and in-person corporate events.
- Proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
Working Hours:
- Full-time remote position with flexible working hours to accommodate clients and event schedules across different time zones.
- Occasional travel may be required for in-person events, depending on location and client needs.
