Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Risk Analyst, you will work closely with senior management to provide insights, recommendations, and strategies to mitigate risks and enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various departments and processes.
• Analyze data and identify potential risks that may affect business operations, financial performance, or compliance.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to manage and reduce identified risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess the effectiveness of current risk management processes.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key risks and recommending solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact risk management strategies.
• Assist in developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support for risk-related projects and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards regarding risk management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Proficient in risk management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices in risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in risk analysis, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks, such as ISO 31000 or COSO, is a plus.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and presenting to senior management is desirable.

Working Hours

• Full-time remote position.
• Flexible working hours, with core hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (EST).
• Occasional weekend or evening hours may be required based on project deadlines.
