Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess insurance claims based on policy details, claims procedures, and regulations.
  • Gather necessary information from clients, medical providers, and other stakeholders to complete claims processing.
  • Evaluate claims to ensure that all required documentation and information are complete and accurate.
  • Communicate with clients to request additional information or clarify any details regarding their claims.
  • Ensure claims are processed and settled according to company policies, client agreements, and legal requirements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims processed and related correspondence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business or related field is a plus.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in claims processing, insurance, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple claims simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and claims management systems.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in an administrative, insurance, or claims processing role.
  • Prior experience with insurance claims is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with relevant insurance policies, medical claims, and billing processes is an advantage.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time remote position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST), with occasional flexibility based on business needs.
