Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Environmental Consultant to join our team. As a key member of the consulting team, you will provide strategic guidance and support to clients in the management of environmental issues and compliance with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments and audits for clients to identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement sustainability and environmental compliance programs.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of environmental reports, regulatory filings, and documentation.
• Provide expert advice on best practices related to environmental impact and sustainability initiatives.
• Support the development of environmental policies and strategies to promote sustainable business practices.
• Perform research to stay up to date with the latest environmental laws, trends, and technologies.
• Deliver presentations and workshops to clients on environmental management practices and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
• Professional certifications, such as LEED, ISO 14001, or equivalent, are a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in environmental consulting or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations (e.g., EPA regulations, OSHA standards).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex environmental data to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in environmental assessment tools and software.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, sustainability initiatives, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in managing environmental projects, including regulatory compliance and risk assessments.
• Prior experience working with clients in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or energy is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• This is a full-time, remote position.
• Flexible working hours, with the expectation to manage deadlines and client expectations.
• Occasional travel may be required for client site visits or presentations.

• Deep understanding of environmental laws, sustainability practices, and environmental assessment methodologies.
• Ability to conduct environmental impact assessments and audits.
