Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a talented and creative Remote Photo Editor to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position available exclusively for U.S. residents. As a Photo Editor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and transforming digital images to meet high-quality standards for various client projects. You will work closely with our design and creative teams to ensure photos align with client specifications, branding, and artistic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, retouch, and manipulate digital images to create high-quality, visually appealing content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all photo editing aligns with project requirements.
• Enhance image composition by adjusting brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color balance.
• Remove or replace backgrounds, fix blemishes, and perform other advanced editing techniques.
• Deliver photos that meet the specified quality and deadline requirements.
• Maintain an organized workflow by managing and archiving photo assets.
• Provide feedback to clients on image specifications and edits.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software to continually improve editing skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant tools.
• Strong attention to detail and an excellent eye for color and design.
• Ability to work with various photo formats and high-resolution images.
• Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of organization and self-motivation, as the position is remote.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in photo editing, preferably in a professional or freelance capacity.
• Experience working with a range of photo styles, including product photography, portraiture, and event photography.
• Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
