Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team as Home-Based Social Media Analytics Specialists. This remote role will allow you to work from the comfort of your home while utilizing your analytical skills to monitor, track, and evaluate social media trends, user engagement, and marketing campaign performance for our clients. You will play a key role in helping brands understand consumer behavior, optimize strategies, and achieve their digital marketing goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to assess trends, user engagement, and overall performance.
  • Track and evaluate social media campaigns, providing detailed reports and insights to guide marketing strategies.
  • Identify key metrics and analyze social media data to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify potential opportunities for clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand goals and translate those into meaningful analytics.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Present findings to stakeholders and contribute to strategy discussions for future campaigns.
  • Stay updated on new social media tools, trends, and best practices to continually improve reporting and analytical techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and how to analyze data from each.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and reporting functions.
  • Familiarity with social media monitoring and sentiment analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data and insights.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for data analysis and digital marketing.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media analytics, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of analyzing social media data and producing actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Experience working remotely and managing deadlines without direct supervision is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time remote position.
  • Flexible working hours, though availability for team meetings and client updates during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) is required.
  • Occasional overtime may be required depending on project needs.
