Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a talented and creative Online UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experiences. As an Online UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring that they are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and translate them into actionable design solutions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect the brands vision and user-centric approach.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and maintain consistency across platforms.
• Perform usability testing and gather feedback from users to iteratively improve designs.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure innovative and cutting-edge designs.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with other team members, including product managers, developers, and content creators, to ensure designs align with overall project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles, including usability, accessibility, and information architecture.
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
• Ability to create responsive and adaptive designs for various devices and screen sizes.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to present and explain design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work in web and mobile applications.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in UX/UI design (freelance or full-time roles).
• Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
