Job Summary:
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dedicated and technically proficient individuals for the role of Online Technical Support. You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving software and hardware problems, ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining professional communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to customers via online channels such as email, chat, and video calls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and peripherals.
- Offer clear guidance on system and software installation, setup, and configuration.
- Assist customers in diagnosing and fixing technical issues by remotely accessing their devices when necessary.
- Document all support interactions and issues accurately in the companys CRM system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved to their satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, professionalism, and empathy throughout all interactions.
- Stay updated with the latest technical advancements, product features, and troubleshooting techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge of computers, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), software applications, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an easily understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple support requests simultaneously.
- Patience and empathy in dealing with customers facing technical issues.
- Basic understanding of security protocols and data protection.
- Proficient with remote support tools and CRM software.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role or a similar customer service role.
- Experience in troubleshooting common hardware and software issues.
- Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
- This is a full-time, work-from-home position.
- Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts based on customer needs.
- Flexibility in shift scheduling may be required, including evening or night shifts.
