Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team of part-time remote tutors for all subjects. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual tutoring sessions for students in subjects including, but not limited to, Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and other areas as needed.
• Create personalized lesson plans based on students learning needs and curriculum requirements.
• Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their academic performance.
• Maintain clear communication with students and their families to ensure satisfaction and track progress.
• Stay up-to-date with subject matter and teaching methods to ensure high-quality, effective tutoring sessions.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Manage scheduling and ensure punctuality for all tutoring sessions.
• Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and improve tutoring strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Proficient in using online teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching and student development.

Experience:

• At least 1-2 years of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in a remote setting.
• Experience working with a wide range of students, including those with special learning needs, is a plus.
• Familiarity with current educational standards and curricula across various subjects.

Working Hours:

• Part-time, flexible hours based on availability.
