Job Summary:
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide administrative support, manage schedules, and assist with a variety of office tasks, all while working remotely. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives and teams.
- Handle inbound and outbound communications, including emails, phone calls, and virtual meetings.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and electronic.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other business documents as required.
- Assist in project management tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Conduct research and compile information for team meetings and reports.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and workflow.
- Support other administrative needs as requested by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office management software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Experience with remote work and virtual communication platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is advantageous.
Working Hours:
- Full-time, remote position.
- Flexible working hours with core collaboration times to accommodate team needs.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on project deadlines.
