Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals for the role of Home-Based Help Desk Support. This is a fully remote position designed to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients. The ideal candidate is skilled in resolving technical issues, possesses excellent communication skills, and thrives in a home-based work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and chat to resolve client issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
- Escalate complex issues to higher support tiers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the ticketing system.
- Guide clients through step-by-step solutions for common issues.
- Update and create knowledge base articles to improve efficiency.
- Deliver excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in IT or related fields is preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer support or IT help desk role.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems and remote desktop tools is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
- Freshers with relevant certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) are welcome to apply.
Working Hours
