Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Drilling Fluids: Oversee the selection, testing, and management of drilling fluids used in oil platform drilling operations.
  • Monitoring and Adjustment: Continuously monitor the properties of drilling fluids and adjust compositions to ensure the stability and efficiency of the drilling process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, rig managers, and field operators to maintain optimal fluid performance and resolve any issues that arise during operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled in identifying issues with drilling fluids and developing effective solutions under pressure.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time role that requires flexibility to work in shifts, as the position is based on an oil platform.
  • Standard working hours are typically 12-hour shifts, with a rotation schedule of 14 days on/14 days off or as per the specific operational requirements of the rig.
