Job Summary:

As an Offshore Project Manager for Oil Rig Jobs, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the successful execution of offshore oil rig projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.

• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and removal of offshore structures and equipment.
• Monitor the performance of offshore operations and provide leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to the offshore rigs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong understanding of offshore oil rig operations, including drilling, maintenance, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage large teams in challenging environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to make critical decisions under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Primavera.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management within the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Proven track record of overseeing large-scale offshore projects, managing teams, and ensuring project delivery on time and within budget.
• Previous experience working on oil rigs or in offshore environments is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience in managing logistics, procurement, and offshore operations.

Working Hours:

• Offshore projects may require extended hours, including nights and weekends, depending on project timelines and site requirements.
• Flexibility to travel to offshore sites is essential. Rotational work schedules are typical, such as 2 weeks on-site followed by 2 weeks off-site.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep knowledge of offshore project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closeout phases.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex operations, budgets, and timelines.
• In-depth understanding of offshore drilling and construction operations, including equipment management, logistics, and safety standards.
