Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair oil pipeline systems, ensuring they meet all operational and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in pipelines, including leaks, blockages, and other system failures.
• System Inspection: Regularly inspect pipelines to ensure they remain in optimal working condition, performing routine tests and assessments.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure safe operations on-site.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to coordinate installations, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work performed on pipelines.
• Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations involving pipeline failures or leaks to minimize environmental impact and ensure safety.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications in pipeline construction or a related field are preferred.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in pipeline installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of oil and gas pipeline systems, including materials, equipment, and processes.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to handle complex machinery and tools necessary for pipeline work.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in hazardous environments.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in pipeline installation and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
• Prior experience working in remote or offshore environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with pipeline welding, coating, and pressure testing is preferred.

Working Hours:

• The role requires flexibility, including weekend work and rotating shifts.
• On-call availability may be required for emergency repairs or installations.
