Job Summary

Scalesforth is seeking an experienced and dedicated Warehouse Manager to join our team in a notional opportunity role. This position requires strong leadership skills and a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety within warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, and managing inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing warehouse operations, optimizing workflows, and improving performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure all safety and compliance regulations are adhered to within the warehouse environment.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, products, and goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse workflows and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and manage warehouse costs, working to reduce expenses while maintaining quality service.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and other key performance indicators.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Proven experience in leading a team and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software (WMS), ERP systems, and automated inventory tracking tools.
• Experience in managing supply chain logistics and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.

Working Hours

This position requires standard working hours, with occasional flexibility required during peak times or to meet critical deadlines. Regular hours are typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with some evening or weekend shifts depending on operational needs.
