Key Responsibilities

• Travel to patients homes, healthcare facilities, or other designated locations to perform phlebotomy services.
• Collect, label, and transport blood and other specimens in compliance with medical protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate identification of patients and proper documentation of samples.
• Maintain and sanitize phlebotomy equipment and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide a calm and comfortable experience.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely specimen delivery and results reporting.
• Maintain detailed records of collected specimens and adhere to company procedures for data accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy is required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with a patient-first attitude.
• Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic record-keeping.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in a mobile or on-site phlebotomy role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedules with part-time and full-time options available.
• Must be available for early morning and weekend shifts as needed.
