Job Summary

DoorDash is seeking Virtual Assistants to join our team, working remotely to support daily operations, administrative tasks, and customer service functions. As a Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting various departments by managing schedules, data entry, communications, and support requests. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes, directly contributing to our goal of providing exceptional service to merchants, Dashers, and customers. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to various teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing virtual events.
  • Assist with email and chat support for merchants, customers, and Dashers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Perform data entry tasks and update company databases and spreadsheets regularly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate operational projects and handle ad hoc requests efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage task workflows to ensure all projects are completed on time.
  • Prepare and distribute reports and other documentation as required.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to optimize administrative operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer support or administrative position.
  • Prior experience working remotely or in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexible scheduling available).
  • Part-time: 20-25 hours per week, with evening or weekend shifts available depending on business needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Slack, Asana, or other project management tools is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.
