Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a reliable and dedicated Medical Courier/Independent Contractor to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Transport Medical Items: Safely transport medical specimens, supplies, and equipment to designated locations while adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Ensure Timeliness: Maintain a reliable schedule to ensure timely deliveries and pickups as per the requirements of healthcare providers.
• Maintain Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of medical materials, including HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that your vehicle is in good working condition, clean, and equipped to transport medical items safely.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including pick-up and drop-off times, and obtain necessary signatures or documentation as required.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with healthcare providers, lab personnel, and patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or healthcare is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology is an advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience as a courier, especially in a medical or healthcare setting, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with delivery services or logistics operations is a plus.

Working Hours
