Job Summary:

French Loaf, a leading bakery chain renowned for its quality baked goods and exceptional customer service, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Chennai. As a Counter Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering a positive customer experience during our evening hours. This part-time position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and excel in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service, addressing their needs and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Assist customers with product selection, provide recommendations, and handle special requests.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and manage cash handling in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stock levels are well-managed.
• Prepare and package baked goods as needed, adhering to quality standards and ensuring freshness.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and weekends as required.
