Progressive Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Returns Processing Associate – Quality Inspection to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting returned products, verifying compliance with quality standards, and ensuring accurate documentation within our inventory and returns management systems. This position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, minimizing losses, and upholding Progressive Technologys commitment to operational excellence and product integrity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, the ability to follow structured inspection processes, and a proactive approach to identifying defects, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities within the returns workflow.
Inspect returned products to assess condition, functionality, and compliance with quality standards
Identify defects, damages, missing components, or signs of misuse
Accurately classify returned items for restocking, refurbishment, repair, or disposal
Record inspection results, discrepancies, and product status in internal systems
Follow established quality control and safety procedures at all times
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and quality assurance teams to resolve issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to returns processing and inspection accuracy
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of returned items
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant inspection work area
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects
Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or tracking systems
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
1–2 years of experience in returns processing, quality inspection, warehouse operations, or a related role preferred
Experience in technology, electronics, or manufactured goods inspection is an advantage
Entry-level candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
