Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Commercial Charter Pilot with an FAA Flight School License to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and navigate aircraft safely during charter flights, following FAA regulations and company procedures.

• Conduct pre-flight inspections, including checking aircraft systems, fuel levels, and weather conditions.

• Communicate effectively with air traffic control and ground crew to ensure smooth flight operations.

• Develop flight plans, considering weather, fuel requirements, and safety protocols.

• Ensure passenger comfort and safety, providing clear instructions and assistance as needed.

• Maintain accurate flight logs, records, and documentation in compliance with FAA and company standards.

• Identify and respond to in-flight emergencies, implementing safety measures promptly.

• Participate in ongoing training, safety meetings, and skill development programs.

• Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve efficiency and operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate and current Flight School License.

• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, airspace rules, and flight safety procedures.

• Excellent situational awareness and decision-making under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with passengers, crew, and air traffic personnel.

• Proficient in flight planning software and navigation systems.

• Ability to adapt to changing schedules, weather conditions, and operational demands.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–5 years of commercial flying experience, preferably in charter operations.

• Demonstrated experience in pre-flight planning, aircraft inspection, and emergency handling.

• Experience with multi-engine aircraft operations is highly desirable.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedule with the ability to operate flights during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Flight hours will vary based on charter assignments, with potential overnight or extended trips.

• Willingness to be on call for urgent charter requests.
