Progressive Technology is seeking responsible, detail-oriented, and reliable individuals to join our remote team as Chat Moderators. In this role, you will help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging online environment by monitoring live chats, forums, and digital communities. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor live chats, discussion boards, and messaging platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines

• Review user-generated content and take appropriate moderation actions when required

• Identify, flag, and report inappropriate, abusive, or policy-violating behavior

• Respond to user inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner

• Enforce rules consistently while maintaining a respectful tone

• Document moderation activities accurately for reporting and quality purposes

• Collaborate with team leads and support staff to improve moderation processes

• Maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy at all times

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills in English

• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment

• Ability to remain calm and objective in sensitive situations

• Basic computer literacy and comfort using online platforms and tools

• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

• Strong time management and organizational skills

Experience

• Prior experience in chat moderation, content moderation, customer support, or online community management is preferred but not mandatory

• Freshers and entry-level candidates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply

• Training and onboarding support will be provided by Progressive Technology

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours

• Part-time and full-time shifts available

• Day, evening, and weekend shifts may be offered depending on business needs
