Job Summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support our diverse patient population across clinical and community-based care settings. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance

  • Accurately measure and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff

  • Assist patients with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and comfort

  • Communicate effectively with patients and families in both English and a second language to ensure understanding of care instructions

  • Support nurses and healthcare professionals with clinical and non-clinical tasks

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment

  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control protocols

  • Document care activities clearly and accurately in patient records

  • Advocate for patient needs and promote a culturally respectful care environment


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language (Spanish preferred; other languages welcome)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting

  • Knowledge of patient privacy laws and ethical standards


Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Experience working with diverse or multicultural patient populations is highly desirable

  • Previous experience in hospitals, long-term care, home health, or community clinics is an advantage


Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN

  • Day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts may be available

  • Overtime opportunities based on operational needs

  • Understanding of basic nursing principles and patient care techniques

  • Ability to translate or interpret basic healthcare information accurately and compassionately
