Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Support residents with memory loss using dignity-focused and person-centered care techniques
Monitor and accurately report changes in residents physical condition, behavior, or cognitive status
Assist residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition, hydration, and safe swallowing practices
Implement care plans designed by nursing and clinical teams
Maintain a calm, structured, and reassuring environment for residents prone to confusion or agitation
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times
Document care activities clearly and accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Provide emotional support to residents and reassurance to families
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (preferred or required by location)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and empathy
Ability to manage challenging behaviors calmly and professionally
Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and prolonged standing
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical caregiving standards
Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience preferred
Prior experience in memory care, dementia care, or assisted living is highly desirable
New CNAs with relevant training and a strong interest in memory care are encouraged to apply
Flexible scheduling options including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts
Full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities available
Overtime and shift-differential pay may apply for nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimers disease care principles
