HR Service Jobs is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeping Executive specializing in German accounting practices to join our growing team. This home-based role involves managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping in compliance with German accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
As part of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making through timely reporting and analysis.
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and manage invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in accordance with German accounting regulations.
Monitor financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate financial data for business decision-making.
Support audits and provide documentation as required.
Identify discrepancies or errors and take corrective action promptly.
Keep up-to-date with changes in German accounting laws, standards, and practices.
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably with German accounting practices.
Strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., DATEV, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional communication skills in both German and English.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management.
