The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Desk Support professional to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring smooth operations for users across multiple platforms. This role is critical to maintaining our high standards of service delivery and user satisfaction.
Provide first-level IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or chat.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, escalating to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates.
Monitor and manage tickets in the helpdesk system, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
Assist with account setup, password resets, and access management.
Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and processes.
Educate users on best practices for IT systems and security.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical helpdesk role.
Experience in remote IT support will be an added advantage.
Full-time: 40 hours per week.
Flexible working hours with availability for critical issue resolution when needed.
May include rotational shifts to support global teams.
Ability to handle multiple support requests simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
