Key Responsibilities:

• Operate backhoe and related construction equipment safely and efficiently.

• Perform excavation, trenching, and loading/unloading of materials at construction sites.

• Conduct pre-operation checks on machinery to ensure operational safety and functionality.

• Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and execute tasks accordingly.

• Maintain accurate records of machinery usage, maintenance, and site activities.

• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and construction site protocols.

• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

• Assist in minor maintenance and servicing of equipment as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Backhoe Operator certification or relevant licensing.

• Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety standards.

• Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.

• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating backhoe equipment in construction or related industries.

• Experience in excavation, trenching, or earthmoving projects is highly preferred.

Working Hours:

• Full-time position with standard construction site hours (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with flexibility for extended hours depending on project requirements.
