This role will focus on managing the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes for construction materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials while optimizing costs, maintaining compliance with company policies, and fostering strong supplier relationships. This position plays a critical role in supporting project timelines and overall operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in line with project requirements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and reliable delivery schedules.

  • Evaluate vendor performance, quality, and compliance with contract agreements.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to forecast material requirements and budget allocations.

  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and trends, ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and reports for internal audits and project tracking.

  • Resolve procurement-related issues promptly to minimize project delays.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and procurement processes.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Analytical skills to assess supplier performance, cost, and risk factors.

Experience:
