Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Analyst (HR) to support the HR department in driving data-driven decision-making and improving HR processes. The ideal candidate will analyze HR metrics, assist with workforce planning, and optimize employee-related data management to enhance overall organizational performance. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, HR knowledge, and a commitment to supporting a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report HR metrics, including recruitment, retention, turnover, and employee engagement trends.

  • Collaborate with HR and management teams to support workforce planning and talent management strategies.

  • Maintain and manage HR databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Support HR processes such as performance evaluation, compensation analysis, and workforce optimization.

  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and company standards.

  • Assist in creating HR presentations and reports for management review.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and data visualization tools.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.


Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR Analyst, HR Coordinator, or HR Reporting role preferred.

  • Experience working with HR metrics and reporting tools is a plus.


Working Hours

  • Full-time role with flexible remote working hours, Monday to Friday.

  • Occasional weekend availability may be required for project deadlines or reporting cycles.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to handle sensitive HR data with confidentiality.

  • Adept at interpreting HR data and transforming it into actionable insights.

  • Familiarity with HR software systems (Workday, BambooHR, or similar).
