Job Summary

Flipkart, Indias leading e-commerce platform, is hiring Packaging Associates for our warehouse operations. As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for packing, sorting, labeling, and preparing products for dispatch to customers. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, time management, and physical stamina. You will be a key part of the supply chain process ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack customer orders according to Flipkarts quality and safety standards.

• Sort incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure items are correctly labeled and placed.

• Scan barcodes, update inventory logs, and prepare items for dispatch.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.

• Ensure accurate packaging to avoid product damage during transit.

• Assist in loading/unloading trucks as required.

• Work closely with warehouse supervisors and follow shift-based targets.

• Report any packaging discrepancies or product damages to the team lead immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 10th Pass (SSLC/Matriculation).

• Basic reading and writing skills in English or local language.

• Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Good physical health and ability to lift/move packages (up to 15-20 kg).

• Basic knowledge of warehouse tools such as barcode scanners.

Experience

• Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in warehouse operations/logistics/packing roles.

• Experience in e-commerce or retail warehousing is an added advantage.

Working Hours

• Full-time | Rotational shifts (Day/Night)

• Typical shift timing: 9 hours including a lunch break.

• Weekly off on rotation (not necessarily on weekends).

• Overtime and peak season hours may apply.
