Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Insurance Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. Handle inbound customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries related to insurance policies, coverage options, billing, and claims.
Provide accurate information regarding policy details, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements.
Assist customers in filing claims and following up on claim status.
Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and state regulations.
Accurately document all interactions in the CRM system.
High school diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using computers, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-first attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
Must have a quiet and distraction-free workspace with a reliable internet connection.
Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or a call center environment is highly desirable.
Familiarity with auto, home, life, or health insurance policies is a plus.
Training will be provided for candidates without direct insurance experience but with a strong customer service background.
Full-time and part-time roles available.
Flexible shifts including daytime, evening, and occasional weekends.
All positions are remote (work from anywhere within approved U.S. states).
Knowledge of U.S. insurance regulations and compliance standards (preferred but not required).
Ability to remain calm and professional during high-stress interactions.
