As a Remote Customer Service Representative at CVS Health, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. You will provide compassionate, timely, and accurate support regarding pharmacy benefits, prescription orders, and general inquiries. Respond to inbound customer calls and online inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
Provide information about CVS services, insurance coverage, and prescription refills.
Resolve issues related to billing, medication delivery, and benefits eligibility.
Navigate multiple systems and tools to accurately document and track all customer interactions.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
Maintain productivity goals and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Adhere to HIPAA and company compliance guidelines at all times.
High School Diploma or GED (required); Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred).
Exceptional communication skills — both written and verbal.
Ability to handle high call volumes with patience and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Basic computer literacy including typing, navigating software systems, and online communication platforms.
A private, distraction-free workspace and reliable high-speed internet connection.
6 months to 1 year of experience in customer service, call center support, or healthcare environment preferred.
Experience with pharmacy benefit management systems or insurance plans is a plus.
Full-time; 8-hour shifts available across multiple time zones.
Candidates must be flexible to work any schedule between 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM EST, including some weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of healthcare terms and pharmacy operations (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to change.
