Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Virtual Customer Support Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our Customer Care Department, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them with inquiries related to prescriptions, healthcare services, insurance claims, billing, and general support. Your primary mission will be to provide outstanding service and ensure every customer feels valued, heard, and supported. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate support via phone, email, or live chat.

  • Respond to inquiries related to prescriptions, orders, benefits, and billing issues.

  • Assist customers in navigating CVS Healths digital platforms, apps, and services.

  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently and escalate complex cases when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using internal systems.

  • Meet and exceed performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

  • Adhere to company policies, HIPAA regulations, and data security standards.

  • Continuously stay updated on CVS Health offerings, product updates, and customer service best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced remote environment.

  • Proficient with technology, including CRM systems, email, and video conferencing tools.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM with high accuracy.


Experience

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, insurance, or pharmacy setting.

  • Remote work experience is a plus.

  • Experience using digital tools such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar platforms is advantageous.


Working Hours

  • Flexible schedules available (including full-time and part-time shifts).

  • Candidates must be available to work anytime between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST, including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of health insurance plans and prescription benefits is preferred.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Adaptability to changing policies, procedures, and technologies.

  • Emotional intelligence and patience when dealing with sensitive or frustrated customers.
