Provide direct personal care to hospice patients in their homes or residential care settings
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in the patients condition to the hospice nurse or physician
Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families
Maintain accurate patient records and follow individualized care plans
Support families through grief and bereavement periods under supervision
Work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, and spiritual advisors to ensure holistic care
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
Ability to handle emotional and sensitive situations with care and professionalism
Basic knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care
Minimum of 1 year of caregiving or hospice care experience preferred
Experience with patients experiencing terminal illness, dementia, or chronic conditions is a plus
International applicants with equivalent experience are encouraged to apply
Full-time or part-time positions available
Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight care
On-call or rotating schedules may be required
Familiarity with end-of-life care practices and symptom management
Ability to lift and assist immobile patients
Strong observation and reporting skills
Culturally sensitive with the ability to support diverse patient populations
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical care standards
