Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is actively hiring Companion Care Assistants to provide compassionate, non-medical support to elderly or disabled individuals in home-based settings across the U.S. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someones life—by offering emotional support, companionship, and assistance with daily living activities. Key Responsibilities

• Offer companionship to clients, providing social interaction and emotional support

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up

• Support clients with mobility (walking, transfers, light exercises)

• Escort clients to appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings as needed

• Monitor and report changes in the clients physical or emotional condition

• Help manage medication reminders (non-clinical) and hydration schedules

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment at all times

• Build trust and a strong relationship with both clients and their families

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong desire to help others

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)

• Basic understanding of household tasks and routines

• Professional demeanor and respectful attitude toward the elderly

• Willingness to undergo background checks and reference verification

• Valid passport (for international applicants pursuing sponsorship)

Experience

• Preferred: 1+ year in a caregiving, hospitality, or customer service role

• Not Required: We welcome dedicated beginners or freshers who are open to training

• Experience with seniors, people with disabilities, or children is a plus

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours depending on the clients needs:

  • Live-In: 5 to 6 days per week with scheduled breaks

  • Live-Out: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts available (day/night)

• Overtime or weekend availability may be required in some assignments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with elderly care and age-related needs

• Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to various family environments

• Basic record-keeping and observational skills

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Knowledge of safety procedures in home settings
