Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.

• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.

• Monitor patient behavior, physical condition, and overall wellness; report any significant changes to nursing staff.

• Help patients with basic mobility and exercise routines as directed by healthcare professionals.

• Provide companionship, emotional support, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.

• Transport patients to and from examination rooms, treatment areas, and rehabilitation sessions.

• Ensure infection control procedures and protocols are followed to maintain a healthy care setting.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate effectively with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

• Active CNA certification in the state of employment (or willingness to transfer/obtain licensure).

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.

• Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).

• Must be physically fit and able to lift, move, or assist patients as needed.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a CNA is preferred.

• Recent graduates from certified CNA programs may also apply.

• Previous experience in elder care, rehabilitation, or home healthcare is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Flexible schedules available: Full-time, Day/Night Shifts, Weekends.

• Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, with overtime options based on patient needs.

• Rotating shifts and on-call duties may apply depending on the facility.
