Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and mobility.
Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Monitor patient behavior, physical condition, and overall wellness; report any significant changes to nursing staff.
Help patients with basic mobility and exercise routines as directed by healthcare professionals.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Transport patients to and from examination rooms, treatment areas, and rehabilitation sessions.
Ensure infection control procedures and protocols are followed to maintain a healthy care setting.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate effectively with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
Active CNA certification in the state of employment (or willingness to transfer/obtain licensure).
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
Good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Must be physically fit and able to lift, move, or assist patients as needed.
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience as a CNA is preferred.
Recent graduates from certified CNA programs may also apply.
Previous experience in elder care, rehabilitation, or home healthcare is advantageous.
Flexible schedules available: Full-time, Day/Night Shifts, Weekends.
Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, with overtime options based on patient needs.
Rotating shifts and on-call duties may apply depending on the facility.
