Progressive Technology is looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Assistant to manage and grow our presence on Instagram and Twitter (X). Manage day-to-day posting and interaction on Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Develop engaging content including images, captions, polls, and hashtags aligned with our brand voice.
Schedule and publish posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or native platforms.
Monitor trends, memes, and viral content to incorporate into our strategy creatively.
Track metrics (likes, retweets, comments, reach, etc.) and report performance insights weekly.
Engage with followers—reply to DMs, mentions, and comments in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams for campaigns and visuals.
Assist in running social media contests, giveaways, and collaborations.
Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates in our niche.
Strong written English communication and copywriting skills.
Familiarity with Instagram and Twitter platform features, tools, and content formats.
Basic understanding of social media analytics (e.g., impressions, reach, CTR).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Creative thinking and ability to adapt brand voice to different post types and audiences.
0–2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital communication.
Internships or freelance work related to social media are highly valued.
Recent graduates or students with strong social media presence or portfolios are encouraged to apply.

Expectation to post consistently and be available for engagement during peak hours (especially evenings and weekends based on audience insights).
Understanding of social media algorithms and platform changes.
