Houston Skilled Consultancy is actively hiring enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the position of Remote Chat Support Executive. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for freshers or individuals looking to begin their career in the customer service or support industry. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers via chat, assisting them with their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth user experience — all from the comfort of home.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries via live chat in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.

  • Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of satisfaction.

  • Escalate unresolved queries to the appropriate departments as needed.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, comments, and complaints.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to share customer feedback and improve service quality.

  • Meet daily performance targets and KPIs as defined by the management.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written communication skills in English.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Good typing speed (minimum 35 WPM with 90% accuracy).

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of operating systems, chat tools, and browsers.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.


Experience

  • No prior experience required. Freshers are welcome.

  • Any previous experience in customer service or BPO/chat support will be a plus.


Working Hours

  • Flexible shifts available (Morning / Evening / Night)

  • Minimum 5 working days per week

  • Part-time and full-time roles available

  • Weekend shifts may be assigned on a rotational basis


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic understanding of customer service principles and practices

  • Familiarity with CRM software or chat platforms is desirable

  • Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Adaptable and willing to work in changing situations and technologies
