Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Online Graphic Designer specializing in social media templates to join our dynamic remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually engaging and brand-consistent social media content templates across multiple platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for aesthetics, strong proficiency in graphic design software, and the ability to produce innovative templates that drive engagement and enhance brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop eye-catching, on-brand social media templates tailored for various platforms and campaigns.

• Collaborate with marketing, content, and branding teams to understand project goals and deliver visually compelling designs.

• Adapt existing brand guidelines into versatile social media templates that are easy to customize.

• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to ensure designs are modern and effective.

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

• Provide creative input and suggestions to improve overall visual communication strategies.

• Optimize graphics for web and mobile platforms to ensure fast loading and high-quality display.

• Maintain a well-organized library of templates and design assets for easy access and reuse.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably with a focus on social media content and template creation.

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Sketch.

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their design requirements (dimensions, file formats, etc.).

• Excellent sense of typography, color theory, and layout principles.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic knowledge of animation or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.

• Familiarity with brand identity principles and ability to follow brand guidelines strictly.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with a portfolio showcasing social media templates or similar work.

• Experience working remotely or in a freelance capacity is highly preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a requirement to attend occasional team meetings during standard business hours (9 AM to 6 PM, local time).

• Must be able to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently in a remote work setup.
