Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freelance E-commerce Consultant to provide expert remote support for setting up and optimizing online retail platforms. This role involves guiding businesses through the e-commerce setup process, ensuring seamless integration of technologies, improving online sales strategies, and enhancing customer experience. As a consultant, you will work independently, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and supply chain management to help clients build efficient and profitable online stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their e-commerce goals, target market, and product offerings.

• Assist in selecting appropriate e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.) based on client needs.

• Guide clients through the end-to-end setup process including store configuration, product listing, payment gateway integration, and shipping setup.

• Analyze and optimize client websites for user experience, mobile responsiveness, and conversion rates.

• Develop customized solutions for inventory management, order processing, and customer support workflows.

• Provide training and documentation to clients on platform use, analytics tracking, and digital marketing best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to e-commerce tools and integrations.

• Stay updated on the latest e-commerce trends, tools, and technologies to provide cutting-edge advice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven expertise with major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce).

• Strong understanding of online payment systems, shipping logistics, and fulfillment processes.

• Experience with digital marketing tools such as SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and social media advertising.

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into simple terms.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results on deadline.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce consulting, digital retail management, or related fields.

• Hands-on experience managing multiple e-commerce projects or client accounts simultaneously.

• Experience working remotely and providing virtual consultations is highly desirable.

Working Hours
