Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a motivated and fluent English speaker to join our remote team as an IELTS Speaking Coach. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals passionate about English language instruction and helping others succeed. As an IELTS Speaking Coach, you will provide one-on-one or small group sessions focused on improving students speaking performance for the IELTS exam. All training and materials will be provided—just bring your passion, professionalism, and communication skills!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual IELTS speaking coaching sessions with students from various backgrounds.

• Assess students English speaking abilities and provide personalized feedback.

• Guide students on pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and coherence.

• Use provided materials and strategies to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

• Track students progress and provide reports or improvement plans as needed.

• Encourage and motivate students to achieve their target IELTS band scores.

• Maintain a professional and student-centered approach throughout all sessions.

• Collaborate with other team members to continually improve the coaching process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, Communication, or any relevant field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

• Strong command of spoken and written English (IELTS band 7.5+ preferred, but not mandatory).

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Basic understanding of the IELTS exam format, especially the Speaking component.

• Comfortable using video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).

• Empathy, patience, and a student-first mindset.

Experience

• No prior professional experience required.

• Prior tutoring, teaching, or public speaking experience is a plus.

• Training will be provided to ensure familiarity with IELTS format and speaking strategies.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours based on your availability.

• Opportunity to choose preferred time slots (morning/evening/weekend).

• Minimum commitment: 10 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with common challenges faced by IELTS speaking candidates.

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.

• Clear and neutral accent or ability to articulate clearly for non-native learners.

• Time management and organizational skills.
